Hotels Scheveningen

Originally Scheveningen was an independent fishing village. The flat bottomed boats that were pulled up onto the beach were part of the landscape until, after storms continued to wash away the beaches and destroy houses, the harbor was build 1904. Luckily, however the presence of the boats and the picturesque beauty of the landscape dating back to the turn of the last century have been immortalized by many Dutch artists.
